As Chef de Bar, you are the heart of our hotel bar and responsible for creating an inviting and lively atmosphere. You will provide our guests with expert advice on the selection of drinks and cocktails and ensure outstanding service. With your expertise and passion for bar culture, you play a key role in shaping our guests' experience. You will work closely with the service team to ensure that our bar always meets the highest standards and that our guests feel completely at ease.
Job requirements
- Completed training in the catering or hotel industry
- Several years of professional experience in bar or beverage service, ideally in a management position
- Comprehensive knowledge of spirits, wines and cocktails
- Fluent German and good English skills
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of direct guest contact
- Leadership qualities, ability to work in a team and reliability
Areas of responsibility
- Responsibility for the operation of the bar
- Creation and continuous development of the drinks menu
- Providing expert advice to guests on the selection of drinks and cocktails
- Ensuring a smooth and efficient service process
- Training and induction of new employees
- Monitoring and compliance with hygiene and quality standards
Wage/ salary
We offer you an above-average attractive salary above the collective agreement, depending on your qualifications and experience.
Working hours
Your working hours will be flexible by arrangement. We offer you flexible full-time working hours. Regular working hours are 40 hours per week. Late shifts and weekend work can be part of the work schedule by arrangement.
